MEN'S SOCCER DOWNS CONCORDIA COLLEGE
Orangeburg, NY (10/18/11) The Dominican College men's soccer team improved to 7-4-3 overall and 5-2-2 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) after defeating the visiting Clippers of Concordia College, 2-0, this afternoon in a game played on the DC Soccer Field.

Orangeburg, NY (10/18/11) The Dominican College men's soccer team improved to 7-4-3 overall and 5-2-2 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) after defeating the visiting Clippers of Concordia College, 2-0, this afternoon in a game played on the DC Soccer Field.
Junior midfielder Pedro Franklin De Araujo (Campinas-SP, Brazil) scored the game's first goal just shy of the ten minute mark off the double assist of Marcus Kilborn (Kellyville, Australia) and Sony Narro (Stamford, CT).
Dominican added to their lead in the 50th minute of action as Narro dribbled the ball into the box and put the ball into the back of the net for the 2-0 Charger victory.
The Chargers controlled the offensive end of the game, outshooting the Clippers 25-8 and holding a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.
Charger keeper Brandon Heembrock* (Ottawa, Canada) made three saves in the win.
DC returns to action this Saturday when they travel to conference opponent, Chestnut Hill College, for a 1pm game.
