LOLO NAMED CACC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

New Haven, CT (10/17/11) Dominican College's Clodalain Lolo was selected the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week. for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 16. Kresimir Nurnberger of Wilmington University has claimed the Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors.

New Haven, CT (10/17/11) Dominican College's Clodalain Lolo was selected the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week. for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 16. Kresimir Nurnberger of Wilmington University has claimed the Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors.

Lolo, a 5-6 freshman forward from Stony Point, N.Y., recorded a hat trick by scoring three of Dominican's goals in a 4-0 victory over Caldwell.

Nurnberger, a 5-9 junior midfielder who hails from Zagreb, Croatia, helped Wilmington make a furious comeback against Bloomfield last week, after falling behind 4-0 at halftime. Nurnberger dished out two assists in the second half to help force overtime, and scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime. With the win, Wilmington stayed in second place in the conference standings.

Honorable Mention

Terry Gibbs, Bloomfield (Sr., F, London, England) - Registered three goals and two assists in a 1-1 week.

Jorge Zubillaga, Dominican (So., F, 5-9, Uruguay) - Notched three goals in a 2-0 week, including both goals in a 2-0 win over Le Moyne.

Francis Eno, Post (Jr., F, Powder Springs, GA) - Tallied two goals in a 2-0 week, including the game-winner in a 1-0 win over Philadelphia.

Jose Campos, Felician (Fr., M, West Haven, CT) - Scored the game's only goal, unassisted, in a win over Goldey-Beacom.

Ekene Okereke, Concordia (So., F, Beliefield, Germany) - Netted three goals in a 5-3 loss to Post.
