Orangeburg, NY (9/25/11) The Dominican College men's soccer team defeated the visiting Rams of Philadelphia University, 3-1 this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on the DC Soccer Field. With the victory Dominican improves to 3-3-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

Orangeburg, NY (9/25/11) The Dominican College men's soccer team defeated the visiting Rams of Philadelphia University, 3-1 this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on the DC Soccer Field. With the victory Dominican improves to 3-3-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
The Rams had an early 1-0 lead with a goal in the 12th minute, but the Chargers tied the contest in the 38th minute as sophomore forward Xavier Forsberg (Green Point, Australia) scored a goal off the assist from Manuel Valencia (New Rochelle, NY).
Freshman Clodalain Lolo (Stony Point, NY) netted his first collegiate goal five minutes later to put DC ahead 2-1.
Fifteen minutes into the second half senior midfielder John Langdon (Bellport, NY) added to the Charger lead with his first goal of the season for the final 3-1 victory.
Senior keeper Brandon Heembrock (Ottawa, Canada) made seven saves in the win.
Dominican returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to Bloomfield College in a conference game scheduled to start at 3pm.
