MEN'S SOCCER SELECTED FOR NCAA DII TOURNAMENT
Orangeburg, NY (11/9/10) The Dominican College men's soccer team has received their fourth bid to the NCAA Championship Tournament as was announced by the NCAA last night.

The Chargers, who finished the regular season with a 12-3-5 overall record, won the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer Championship last Saturday, winning their third shootout of the tournament 4-2 over Bloomfield College.
Dominican will travel to Dowling College which is one of two sites for the Super Region 1 and will take on Southern Connecticut State University on Friday, November 12th at 1pm on Golden Lions Field.
Dowling will then go on to face the winner of that match on Sunday, November 14th at 1pm.
The winner of Sunday's match faces the winner of the other Super Region 1 site which includes Southern New Hampshire University, Bloomfield College, and Franklin Pierce University. Franklin Pierce, who holds the top spot in the latest NSCAA national rankings, came to Golden Lions Field on September 7th of this year as Dowling took a 1-0 win over the Ravens.
The National Semifinals and Final will be held on December 2 and December 4 in Louisville, KY as part of the NCAA Division II Fall Festival.
Admission for each day of the Super Region will be $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for students with I.D. and senior citizends and $ 2.00 for children ages 2-12. Children under the age of 2 shall be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
