HEEMBROCK NAMED CACC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Orangeburg, NY (11/8/10) Dominican College men's soccer player, Brandon Heembrock, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week for the week ending November 7th as was announced by the conference office today.
Orangeburg, NY (11/8/10) Dominican College men's soccer player, Brandon Heembrock, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week for the week ending November 7th as was announced by the conference office today.
Heembrock, a junior goalie from Ottawa, Canada, led Dominican to the CACC Championship by saving 21 shots in three games, all penalty kick shootout victories. He was able to save four shootout kicks in a semi-final win over Philadelphia and added two penalty kick saves in the championship over Bloomfield.
For his efforts he was named the 2010 CACC Men's Soccer Tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP) and recently was named to the All-CACC First Team.
This is his second CACC Player of the Week honors this season.
