# 18 MEN'S SOCCER UPEND PHILADELPHIA UNIVERSITY

Orangeburg, NY (10/24/09) The Dominican College men's soccer team, currently ranked 18th nationally in the NSCAA/Adidas latest poll, upended the visiting Rams of Philadelphia University 1-0 this afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.
Freshman forward Alex Rodier (Williamstown, NJ) netted his second game winning goal of the season at the 85:30 mark as he rocketed a shot from the 25 yard line past the Ram keeper for the 1-0 victory.
The Rams outshot the Chargers 17-13, while DC had a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
Charger goalie Brandon Heembrock (Ottawa, Canada) made nine saves in the victory.
Ram keeper Emmanuel Asangmbeng (Riverdale, MD) had four saves.
With the victory Dominican ends a two game losing streak and improves to 12-2-2 overall and 7-2-1 in the CACC, while Philadelphia drops to 11-5 overall and 7-4 in the CACC.
Dominican is back in action on Thursday when they host Caldwell College in the final regular season game at 3:30 pm on the DC Soccer Field.
