DOMINICAN'S WRIGHT NAMED TO DAKTRONICS ALL-EAST REGION TEAM

Orangeburg, NY (11/12/08) Dominican College men's soccer player, Joe Wright, has been named to the 2008 Division II Daktronics All-East Region Second Team as was announced today.

Orangeburg, NY (11/12/08)  Dominican College men's soccer player, Joe Wright, has been named to the 2008 Division II Daktronics All-East Region Second Team as was announced today.

Wright, a junior foward from Stratford-Upon-Avon, England, scored 12 goals and 3 assists for a total of 27 points in 12 games this season.  He suffered a season ending injury on 10/11 against Philadelphia University.  He ranked sixth in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in shots, third in shots per game, tied for sixth in points, first in points per game, tied for third in goals and first in goals per game.

Dominican finished with an 11-4-2 overall record and a 7-1-2 record in the CACC.  The Chargers fell to Holy Family University, 3-1 in the CACC Tournament Semi-Finals.
