The Chargers attacked early getting a goal at just 1:27 into the game as junior midfielder James Hamilton (Paisley, Scotland) headed the ball into the net off the free kick by sophomore Chris Wylie (Perth, Australia).
The Deacons evened the score in the 58th minute of play as Johan Orange received the cross pass from Juan Ramirez inside the box to score the goal.
After two overtimes, the score remained 1-1. Bloomfield outshot the Chargers 21-15.
Charger keeper Brandon Heembrock (Ottawa, Canada) had seven saves on the day, while Deacon keeper Julian Gaviria had six saves.
With the tie Dominican now stands at 11-2-2 overall and 7-0-2 in the CACC, while Bloomfield is now 10-5-1 overall and 7-1-1 in the conference.
Dominican wraps up the regular season next Tuesday when they host Felician College at the Torne Valley Sports Complex. Game time is set for 3pm.
