Men's Soccer

BRYANT BULLDOGS DEFEAT #25 CHARGERS SOCCER, 1-0

Smithfield, RI (9/10/07)  The Bryant University men's soccer team defeated the visiting Dominican College Chargers, ranked 25th nationally, 1-0 this afternoon at Bulldog Stadium.

Ryan Aspinall netted the game's only goal at 18:09 off the cross pass by Sean Kaukas.

Charger keeper Robert Kelly (Kearny, NJ) had five saves in the loss, while Bulldog keeper Tom Madden also had five saves.

The Chargers out shot the Bulldogs 8-7.

With the loss, the Chargers drop to 3-1-3 overall while Bryant improves to 5-1 on the year.

Dominican is back in action on Saturday when they host Bloomfield College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game at the DC Soccer Field at 1pm
