Kelly Named CACC Men's Soccer Player of the Week
New Haven, CT - Robert Kelly of Dominican College has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 10. Sean Hordijenko of Holy Family University is the selection for the Rookie of the Week.

New Haven, CT - Robert Kelly of Dominican College has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 10. Sean Hordijenko of Holy Family University is the selection for the Rookie of the Week.
Kelly, a senior goal keeper from Kearny,
NJ, recorded two shutouts last week and also had the game-winning
assist in a 1-0 victory over Felician on Tuesday. He came up with
five saves and played all 180 minutes for the week in shutting out
Goldey-Beacom and the Golden Falcons.
Hordijenko, a freshman midfielder from Philadelphia, PA, scored two goals in Saturday's 4-3 overtime victory over Nyack to help the Tigers win their first CACC game of the season.
Honorable Mention
Uke Dauti, Caldwell (Sr., F, 5-8, West Orange, NJ) - Scored two goals in a 1-1 week for the Cougars.
Kafoumba Cisse, Post (Sr., M, 6-0, Abidjan, Ivory Coast) -
Tallied the game-winning goal against Caldwell with just three seconds left in the game.
CACC Men's Soccer Notes
Post - Post finished last week with a 2-1 record, recording two conference wins. On Tuesday, the Eagles defeated Bloomfield 2-1, behind goals from Johan Pineda and Maurice Johnson. On Thursday, American International defeated Post 2-1. The Yellowjackets scored twice in the first half, before Daniel Martins sailed a shot from about 30 yards out, into the top right hand corner of the net. On Saturday at Caldwell, junior Raleigh Woodburn fired a shot that was stopped by the Caldwell goalkeeper, but the rebound came out to senior Kafoumba Cisse who put it in the back of the net, to give the Eagles a 1-0 win with just three seconds remaining in the contest.
Felician - The Golden Falcons suffered three consecutive one-goal losses. Felician led at the half in two of those matches, and lost in the closing minute of regulation in the third game.
Caldwell - Caldwell's 3-1 victory at Nyack marked the 50th win for head coach Jamie Nash, who is in his seventh season with the Cougars.
Wilmington - Junior goalie Dan Mangat notched his first career assist to Sargbah Tarpey for the game-winning goal against Bloomfield
