DOWLING COLLEGE SHUTS OUT MEN'S LACROSSE
Brookhaven, N.Y. (4/16/13) The Dowling College Golden Lions, the defending NCAA Division II National Champions, defeated the Dominican College men's lacrosse team, 20-0, this evening in an East Coast Conference (ECC) contest. With the loss the Chargers fall to 0-9 overall and 0-4 in conference play, while Dowling improves to 7-3 and 3-1 in the ECC.

Junior goalie Matthew Quinones (Nanuet, N.Y.) made a career high 34 saves in the loss.
The Chargers had 18 ground balls in the game, had 13 clears and won six face-offs.
Dominican is back in action on Saturday as they travel to Chestnut Hill College.
