MEN'S LACROSSE GAME AGAINST #8 NYIT TO BE AIRED ON ESPN3

(4/10/13) The East Coast Conference (ECC) men's lacrosse game scheduled for Saturday, April 13th against NYIT, currently ranked 8th in United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Coaches poll, will be aired on ESPN3. The contest will be played at DaSilva Memorial Field on the campus of St. John's University with faceoff being scheduled for noon.

The contest will be played at DaSilva Memorial Field on the campus of St. John's University with faceoff being scheduled for noon.
The game is part of a "Jack Kaley Day" doubleheader honoring the hall of famer whose coaching resume includes both NYIT and St. John's. The Red storm will host the Wildcats of Villanova in Big East action at 3 p.m. Kaley will be recognized at a ceremony in between the two games.
TOP SCORERS
Dominican is led by freshman attacker Joseph Ravenell (Copiague, N.Y.) who had recorded 13 goals and four assists on the season for a total of 17 points. Junior midfielder Thomas Dertinger (Nanuet, N.Y.) has 14 points on the season with 12 goals and two assists. Junior goalie Matthew Quinones (Nanuet, N.Y.) is currently third in the ECC in save percentage (60.1) and fourth in saves (89).
NYIT is led by the current ECC Player of the Week, Luke Miller (Mastic, N.Y.) with 25 goals and 25 assists for a total of 50 points. Junior defenseman Danny McDermott (Vancouver, Canada) leads the nation in caused turnovers per game (3.0).
LAST TIME OUT
The two teams last met on April 26, 2012 with NYIT defeating Dominican 15-2. The Bears are 6-1 all-time against the Chargers.
