MEN'S LACROSSE LOSE TO #6 LIU POST
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/6/13) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team fell in East Coast Conference (ECC) action today to #6 Long Island University Post, 18-1, in a game played at the DC Lacrosse Field. With the win the Pioneers improve to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in conference play, while the Chargers fall to 0-7 overall and 0-2 in the ECC.

(4/6/13) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team fell in East Coast Conference (ECC) action today to #6 Long Island University Post, 18-1, in a game played at the DC Lacrosse Field. With the win the Pioneers improve to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in conference play, while the Chargers fall to 0-7 overall and 0-2 in the ECC.
The Pioneers scored 14 unanswered goals through the first 50:54 seconds of the game before the Chargers got on the board as freshman attacker Joseph Ravenell (Copiague, N.Y.) netted his 13th goal of the season on a man-up opportunity after a pass from Maxwell Odynski (Northport, N.Y.).
From there LIU Post tacked on four more goals for the 18-1 final score.
Matthew Quinones (Nanuet, N.Y.) made 13 saves in the first 30 minutes of the game, while senior Andrew Slater* (Brookfield, Conn.) had 14 saves in the final 30 minutes of action.
Senior Conlan Pierce* (Middleburg, Va.) had a team high seven groundballs
Dominican made a season high 27 saves in the game and won 13 of the 23 faceoffs.
The Chargers will take on #9 New York Institute of Technology next Saturday in ECC action to be played at St. John's University.
