DOMINICAN COLLEGE ADDS THREE TO MEN'S LACROSSE COACHING STAFF

(Orangeburg, NY) Dominican College Head Coach
Manny Rapkin is pleased to announce the addition
of three new coaches to the Charger staff. Defensive Coordinator
and First Assistant Jimmy Hirsch of Putnun Valley
NY, Offensive Coordinator Matthew Brancaccio of
Greenvale NY, and Goalkeepers Coach Tim Collins of
Yorktown NY all arrive in Orangeburg this week.
Hirsch, a graduate of DeSales University with a
BA in Political Science and Communications, was a close defenseman
and faceoff specialist for his four years in Center Valley PA. A
sole captian and member of the winningest class in school history,
Hirsch led the Bulldogs to their first MAC playoff
berth.
Brancaccio, also from DeSales, graduated with a
degree in Sports and Exercise Science. He holds both the Bulldog
single season and career assists record.
Brancaccio was also a member of the winningest
class and first team to earn a MAC berth.
Collins, a graduate of Widener University (PA),
was a member of a senior class that won four straight MAC
championships and made four straight NCAA tournament appearances. A
captian and the Middle Atlantic Tournament Most Outstanding Player
in 2008, Collins coached as a varsity assistant at
North Salem High School.
Dominican College (NCAA Division II) is a member of the East Coast
Conference.
