CHARGERS LACROSSE FALL TO SETON HILL UNIVERSITY

The Griffins jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first quarter and tacked on eight goals in the second for a 12-2 lead at halftime. The Chargers first goal of the game came with 14:05 left in the second quarter as junior attacker Daniel Metoyer (San Diego, CA) netted the unassisted goal. Sophomore Korin Pierce (Middleburg, VA) scored another unassisted goal with 12:13 remaining in the second quarter.
Junior Alex Jones (St. Albert, AB) opened up the third quarter scoring with an unassisted goal for Dominican, but the Griffins answered back with three consecutive goals to take a 15-3 lead. Jones's closed out the third quarter with his second goal of the game off the assist by Remo Montalbano (Saugerties, NY).
SHU went on a 3-0 run to start the fourth quarter to build up a 18-4 lead, before DC scored back-to-back goals off the sticks of Jesse Peterson (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) and Pierce. Peterson notched his second goal of the game with 5:14 remaining in the fourth quarter as SHU went on to the 20-7 victory.
With the loss Dominican falls to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the ECC.
The Chargers are back in action on Wednesday when they host Saint Michael's College in a 4pm non-conference game to be held at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.
