Blauvelt, NY (5/6/06)          The #4 C.W. Post Lacrosse Team defeated the Dominican College Chargers, 25-3 this afternoon at the Dominican College Athletic Field in Blauvelt, NY.

C.W. Post had a 5-0 lead after the first quarter and led 10-0 at the half.  The team added five goals a piece in the third and fourth quarters, while the Chargers got on the board with a goal in the third and two in the fourth for the final 25-3 score.

C.W. Post scored the game's opening goal at the 14:19 mark as Jeremy Jablonski put it in the net off the assist by Tim Paulson. 

Colin Achenbach and Jablonski finished the game with four goals a piece, while Ralph Carino and Christopher Fraser each added three goals in the win.  Chris Kelly and Greg Cerar had two goals a piece and seven other C.W. Post players scored a goal.

Mike Rimmer started the game in goal, while Nick Dello-Iacono and Matt Daley finished the final 45 minutes of the game.

The Chargers got on the board in the third quarter as Owen Smith III (Upper Saddle River, NJ) netted an unassisted goal at the 11:44 mark.  Smith netted his second goal with 6:53 left in the game off the pass by Remo Montalbano (Saugerties, NY).  Joe Cobis (Riverhead, NY) netted the game's final goal with 3:17 left off another assist by Montalbano.

Charger goal keeper Ryan Strong (Huntington Station, NY) had 12 saves in the game
