NEW NABC/DIVISION II MEN'S BASKETBALL RANKINGS RELEASED
Orangeburg, N.Y. (1/9/13) The Dominican College men's basketball team have received votes in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC)/Division II Men's Basketball Poll which was released yesterday. This was the sixth regular season poll released by the NABC this season.

The Chargers emerged in the "receiving votes" category after posting a 3-0 record last week to improve to 12-2 overall and 6-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play. The team is also currently on a nine-game winning streak.
The victories included a 56-51 win over Le Moyne College, a 67-63 triumph over Franklin Pierce University, currently ranked 14th in this week's rankings, and a 72-68 overtime CACC win over Wilmington University. In the win over Le Moyne College, senior center Cory Quimby* (Otisville, N.Y.) recorded his 1,000th career point.
The weekly poll is being conducted by 16 members of the NABC, two representing each of the eight NCAA Division II regions.
All records are through games of Sunday, January 6th. The next poll will be released Tuesday, January 15th.
