DOMINICAN'S CARTY RECEIVES ALL-CACC HONORABLE MENTION HONORS
Blauvelt, NY (2/26/08) Dominican College's men's basketball player, Will Carty, has received All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Honorable Mention honors as was released by the CACC today.
Carty, a junior from the Bronx, NY, has been a captain of
the Chargers basketball squad for the last two years. He is
currently averaging 10.8 ppg which is second on the team. He
has played in all 26 games this season and started 19 of
them. He averages 25.2 minutes per game and is shooting 44.1%
from the floor.
During the ECAC/Commerce Bank Classic, hosted by Caldwell College, Carty received Player of the Game honors after DC defeated Southern New Hampshire University, 84-72. Carty netted 18 points in the game, shooting 6-11 from the floor and 4-6 from three point land.
