Blauvelt, NY (1/20/07)          The Goldey-Beacom College Lightning improved to 8-7 overall and 6-4 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) with a 60-58 victory over host Dominican College this afternoon on Coach Baxter Court on Camper Day.

 
Goldey-Beacom trailed early but took a 25-24 lead into the half, despite the Chargers shooting 44% from the floor.

 
The Chargers were led by sophomore Will Carty (Bronx, NY) who had 15 points off the bench, shooting

3-3 from beyond the three point arc.  Junior Ron Wyatt (Washingtonville, NY) added 12 points, while Keynon Jackson (Harlem. NY) netted 10 points and five rebounds in the loss.

 
Senior DJ Stanberry led the Lightning with 18 points.  Adrian Miles added 13 points and six rebounds in the win.

 
Dominican is back in action on Monday when they travel to Post University in CACC men’s action.  Game time is set for 8pm.
