MEN'S GOLF FINISH EIGHTH AT 5TH ANNUAL CHARGER CHALLENGE
Orangeburg, NY (10/10/11) The Dominican College golf team finished eighth out of 11 teams that competed in the 5th Annual "Charger Challenge" held yesterday and today at the Spook Rock Golf Course. St. Thomas Aquinas College took home the team title, while Matt Horton of the College of Saint Rose was the individual medalist with a combined score of 142 after shooting a day one score of 73 and a low round 69 day two score.

Sophomore Keith Prokop (Ramsey, NJ) was the top finisher for the Chargers as he finished in a tie for 25th place with rounds of 82 and 75 for a combined score of 157.
Senior captain Bryan Romagnoli* (Waldwick, NJ) tied for 35th place with rounds of 78 and 82 for a 160 total score.
Lewis Morse (Kings Ferry, NY) shot a combined score of 164 (80-84) to tie for 42nd place, while Eric Reiher (Milford, PA) tied for 45th place with scores of 80 and 85 for a 165 combined score.
Freshman Anthony Schifano (Ramsey, NJ) finished in 52nd place with a combined score of 165.
Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, NJ) shot rounds of 83 and 77 for a combined score of 160 as an individual. Carol Fonacier (Valley Cottage, NY) also played as an individual with a combined score of 167 (79-88).
Michael Morton (Hawthorne, NJ) also played as an individual and shot rounds of 89 and 91 for a 180 score and 57th place finish.
Dominican is back in action next week on Monday and Tuesday when they play in Goldey-Beacom College Fall Invitational.
