CHARGERS GOLF FINISHES THIRD AT CHESTNUT HILL COLLEGE FALL CLASSIC
Jeffersonville, PA (9/14/11) The Dominican College golf team finished third out of eight teams that participated in the Chestnut Hill College Fall Classic which was held today at the Westover Country Club. Penn State-Abington took home the team title, followed by Goldey-Beacom College, Dominican College, Elizabethtown, Rosemont College, University of the Sciences, Arcadia University and host Chestnut Hill College.

Sophomore Keith Prokop (Ramsey, NJ) was the top finisher for the Chargers and tied for the individual title with a 72 score to finish two shots over par.
Freshman Eric Reiher (Milford, PA) finished in a three-way tie for ninth place with a score of 77 (+7), while freshman Anthony Schifano (Ramsey, NJ) shot a round of 82 (+12) to take 17th place.
Sophomore Carlos Fonacier (Valley Cottage, NY) and senior Bryan Romagnoli (Waldwick, NJ) both shot an 86 (+16) to finish in a four-way tie for 27th place.
As a team the Chargers shot a combined score of 317 to finish 37 shots over par.
Dominican returns to action this coming Sunday as they take part in the NEIGC Championships which will be held at the Timberlin Country Club.
