GOLF IN FIFTH PLACE AFTER DAY ONE OF CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Lafayette Hill, PA (4/11/11) The Dominican College men's golf team is in fifth place after the first round of the 2011 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf Tournament, which got underway this morning at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club. Wilmington University player Andrew Baldo is the individual leader after firing a 70 in the opening round. The second and final round of the tournament will be played Tuesday.

Wilmington University player Andrew Baldo is the individual leader after firing a 70 in the opening round. The second and final round of the tournament will be played Tuesday.
Wilmington University leads after firing off a first round combined score of 300. Post University, the five-time defending champion, is in second place with a 304, while Goldey-Beacom College sits in third place with a team total of 318.
Concordia College is in fourth place with a 322 and Dominican College stands in fifth place with a 332.
Freshman Keith Prokop (Ramsey, NJ) shot a 79 (40, 39) in the opening round to be in a three-way tie for 13th place.
Sophomore Lewis Morse (Kings Ferry, NY) is also in a three-way tie as he shot a round of 81 (43, 38) to be in 16th place.
Captain Bryan Romagnoli (Waldwick, NJ) is in a five-way tie for 29th place after round one with a score of 85 (41, 44).
Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, NJ) sits in a three-way tie for 35th place with a round one total of 87 (44, 43) and Brandon Paone (Staten Island, NY) is in 49th place with a score of 95 (48, 47).
Tuesday's round will begin at 8:00 am. The winner of the tournament will receive the CACC's automatic spot in the NCAA Division II Regional Golf Tournament.
