CHARGERS GOLF FINISHES SEVENTH AT CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Lafayette Hill, PA (4/12/11) The Dominican College golf team finished in seventh place at the 2011 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf Tournament which was held yesterday and today at the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club.

Lafayette Hill, PA (4/12/11)  The Dominican College golf team finished in seventh place at the 2011 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf Tournament which was held yesterday and today at the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club.

Wilmington University took home the team championship with a combined score of 601, Post University took second place with a score of 608 and Goldey-Beacom College finished in third place with a 629 score.  Concordia College followed in fourth place (643), followed by Nyack College (656), Felician College (666), Dominican College (681), Philadelphia University (688), Holy Family University (695), University of the Sciences (700) and Chestnut Hill College (864).

Sophomore Lewis Morse (Kings Ferry, NY) finished in 18th place with a two-day total of 162 (81,81).  Freshman Keith Prokop (Ramsey, NJ) tied for 21st place with rounds of 79 and 84 for a 163 score.

Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, NJ) shot an 87 and 88 for a combined score of 175 to finish in a tie for 36th place.  Captain Bryan Romagnoli (Waldwick, NJ) tied for 44th place with a score of 184 (85, 99), while Brandon Paone (Staten Island, NY) finished in a tie for 49th place with a 191 score (95, 96).
