CHARGERS GOLF FINISH TENTH AT GOLDEY-BEACOM COLLEGE SPRING INVITE
Newark, DE (3/29/11) The Dominican College men's golf squad finished in tenth place at the Goldey-Beacom College Spring Invite held at Deerfield Golf Course yesterday and today. The Chargers shot a team score of 350 on both day one and day two to finish with a 700 combined total for the tournament.
Newark, DE (3/29/11) The Dominican College men's golf squad finished in tenth place at the Goldey-Beacom College Spring Invite held at Deerfield Golf Course yesterday and today. The Chargers shot a team score of 350 on both day one and day two to finish with a 700 combined total for the tournament.
Host Goldey-Beacom College won the team title with a score of 622, followed by Nyack College (636), Millersville University (638), Adelphi University (645), Le Moyne College (647), UMASS-Lowell (654), West Chester University (655), Pace University (685), Holy Family University (689) and Dominican College (700).
Freshman Keith Prokop (Ramsey, NJ) was the top finisher for the Chargers as he shot a two-day total of 163 (82, 81) to put him in a four-way tie for 21st place.
Sophomore Lewis Morse (Kings Ferry, NY) tied for 45th place with rounds of 83 and 90 for a 173 total score and Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, NJ) took 47th place with a 174 (87, 87) total score.
Bryan Romagnoli (Waldwick, NJ) shot rounds of 98 and 92 for a 190 combined socre and tied for 55th place.
