GOLF STANDS IN SIXTH PLACE AFTER ROUND ONE ACTION AT 4TH ANNUAL "CHARGER CLASSIC"
Suffern, NY (10/10/10) The Dominican College golf team shot a combined score of 326 today to be in sixth place after round one play of the 4th Annual Dominican College "Charger Challenge" being held at Spook Rock Golf Course today and tomorrow.

Adelphi University stands atop the leader board with first round score of 310, followed by Goldey-Beacom College 315, the College of Saint Rose 317, Nyack College 323 and Holy Family University 325. Dominican shot a first round combined score of 326 to sit in sixth place, followed by Felician College 328, Concordia College and Pace University tied with a 329 score and Nassau Community College rounding out the scoring with a 341.
Junior Bryan Romagnoli (Waldwick, NJ) is the top Charger after day one with a score of 80. Freshman Brandon Paone (Staten Island, NY) is tied for 18th place with an 81 score and Michael Ciabattari (New Hampton, NY) shot an 82 to be tied in 23rd place.
Sophomore Lewis Morse (Aurora, NY) shot an 83 to be tied for 30th place, while Keith Prokop (Ramsey, NJ) is in a tie for 39th place with a first round score of 86.
Dominican returns to action tomorrow in the final day of the 4th Annual Dominican College "Charger Challenge.
