GOLF TEAM FINISHES SIXTH AT 3RD ANNUAL DOMINICAN COLLEGE "CHARGER CHALLENGE"

Orangeburg, NY (10/12/09) The Dominican College golf team finished sixth at the 3rd Annual Dominican College "Charger Challenge" held at the Spook Rock Golf Course yesterday and today.
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) member, Wilmington University, took home the team title with a combined score 603. Adelphi finished second with a score of 605, followed by St. Thomas Aquinas College (616), Nyack College, (630), Pace University (635), Dominican College (647), Holy Family University (656), College of Saint Rose (664), Felician College (668) and Caldwell College (699).
Senior Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) was the top finisher for the Chargers with a two day total of 156 (76, 80) to finish in a two-way tie for 13th place. Freshman Michael Ciabattari (New Hampton, NY) shot rounds of 82 and 79 for a total score of 161 to finish in 23rd place.
Sophomore James Reppert, Jr (Joppatowne, Maryland) finished in a three-way tie for 29th place with a score of 164 (79, 85). Freshman Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, NJ) shot rounds of 77 and 89 for a total score of 166 to finish in a three-way tie for 34th place.
Freshman Lewis Morse (Aurora, NY) finished in a three way tie for 47th place with a combined score of 185 (96, 89). Sophomore Bryan Romagnoli (Waldwick, NJ) played as an individual and had rounds of 101 and 96 for a total score of 197.
The Chargers are back in action on Thursday as they travel to the College of Saint Rose for a one-day tournament.
