CHARGERS GOLF FINISH FIFTH AT MULEKICKER FALL CLASSIC
Blauvelt, NY (10/3/07) The Chargers golf squad finished fifth at the Mulekicker Fall Classic hosted by the United States Military Academy at the West Point Golf Course yesterday.
The team shot a combined score of 330 (+50) to put them behind Adelphi University 303 (+23), Nassau CC 306 (+26), Fairleigh Dickinson 312 (+32) and Monmouth University 313 (+33). Fellow Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) member, Nyack College, finished sixth with a score of 337 (+57).
Junior AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) finished in a tie for 12th place with a 78 score (+8). Senior Corey Stone (East Syracuse, NY) finished tied for 21st place after shooting an 80 (+10).
Senior Brian Mackey (Chestnut Ridge, NY) shot an 82 (+12) to finish tied for 26th place, while freshman Thomas Lalonde (Red Hook, NY) shot an 84 (+14) to tie for 35th place.
Junior Michael Ciaravino (Islip Terrace, NY)
rounded out the Charger scoring, shooting an 86 (+16) to finish
39th.
