DOMINICAN'S MACKEY IN THIRD PLACE AFTER DAY ONE OF NCAA SUPER REGIONALS

golfer, Brian Mackey, finished the first day of
the NCAA Super Regionals being held at the Back Creek Golf Course
in Middletown, DE in third place out of 45 golfers.
Mackey, a senior from Chestnut Ridge, NY, is making his fourth appearance at the NCAA Super Regionals. He fired a round of 73 to be two shots above par in the first round.
After bogeying the first two holes, Mackey was able to par holes three, four and five and birdied the sixth hole. He finished the front nine two above par. In the back nine he birdied three holes, but bogeyed three holes to finish with a round of 73 (+2).
