CHARGERS GOLF FINISHES FOURTH AT ST. THOMAS AQUINAS SPRING INVITATIONAL
Ocean City, MD (3/16/08) The Dominican College golf team opened up the Spring 2008 season with a fourth place finish at the St. Thomas Aquinas Spring Invitational held at Rum Pointe Golf Course in Ocean City, MD this past weekend.

Ocean City, MD (3/16/08) The Dominican College golf team opened up the Spring 2008 season with a fourth place finish at the St. Thomas Aquinas Spring Invitational held at Rum Pointe Golf Course in Ocean City, MD this past weekend.
As a team, Dominican shot a 316 on day one to finish the day in fourth place and shot a 309 on day two for the 625 total and fourth place finish behind Fairmont State, St. Thomas Aquinas College and Wilmington University.
Freshman Thomas Lalonde (Red Hook, NY) was the top
finisher for the Chargers with a ninth place finish overall after
shooting rounds of 76 and 78 for a total score of 154 (+10).
Senior Brian Mackey (Chestnut Ridge, NY) finished
in tenth place with rounds of 80 and 75 for a total score of 155
(+11).
Junior AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) finished in a tie for twelfth place with a 157 (+13) finish after rounds of 80 and 77. Senior Corey Stone (East Syracuse, NY) shot rounds of 77 and 81 to finish in a tie for fourteenth place with a 158 (+14) total score. Junior Michael Ciaravino (Islip Terrace, NY) rounded out the Charger scoring with a total score of 161 (+17) after shooting rounds of 80 and 81 to put him in a three way tie for nineteenth place.
The Chargers are in action again on Thursday when they play in the Pace University Spring Invitational held at Crown Park Golf Course in Myrtle Beach, SC.
