Chargers Take Second At Dominican College Tournament

Blauvelt, NY (10/14/06) The Dominican College golf team took second place at the Dominican College Tournament that took place this past Friday at Spook Hill Golf Course.

Blauvelt, NY (10/14/06)  The Dominican College golf team took second place at the Dominican College Tournament that took place this past Friday at Spook Hill Golf Course.

 Post University won the team title with a score of 303 as well as the individual title with Lloyd Notely shooting a 71 (-1).  Dominican took second place with a score of 318 as Brian Mackey (Chestnut Ridge, NY) finishing second with a score of 72.   Dowling College and Adelphi University finished in a tie for third place with team scores of 325.

AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) finished in a tie for sixth place with a score of 79 (+7).  Suffern's Justin Jacaruso finished in a tie for thirteenth place with a score of 83 (+11) and James Cardona (Suffern, NY) finished in fourteenth place with a score of 84 (+12).  Freshman Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) rounded out the Charger scoring finishing in fifteenth place with a socre of 85 (+13).

Dominican will play in the St. Thomas Aquinas College Invitational on October 15 and 16 at the Rotella Golf Course.
