Chargers Golf Finishes Ninth At Dowling September Shoot Out

Riverhead, NY (9/19/06) The Dominican College golf team finished tied for ninth place out of 16 teams this past weekend at the Dowling College September Shoot Out at the Long Island National Golf Course in Riverhead, NY.

Chargers Golf Finishes Ninth At Dowling September Shoot Out

Riverhead, NY (9/19/06)  The Dominican College golf team finished tied for ninth place out of 16 teams this past weekend at the Dowling College September Shoot Out at the Long Island National Golf Course in Riverhead, NY.

The Chargers ended the first round in seventh place with a combined score of 306.  On day two, the team shot a 309 for a two day final score of 615 for the eighth place finish. 

Brian Mackey (Chestnut Ridge, NY) fired off rounds of 74 and 71 for a 145 total and second place finish.  Justin Jacaruso (Suffern, NY) shot a 74 and a 79 for total score of 153 to finish 30th.
