Golf Finishes Third At CACC Championships

Blauvelt, NY (4/17/07)  The Dominican College golf team finished third at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf Championships held at Frog Hollow Golf Course in Middletown, DE this afternoon.  Due to inclement weather yesterday, the tournament consisted of 18 holes played today instead of the scheduled 36 holes over a two day period. 

 Dominican shot a combined total of 316 on the day to finish behind Post University (311) and Goldey-Beacom College (312).

Junior Brian Mackey (Chestnut Ridge, NY) and sophomore AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) were the top golfers for Dominican finishing in a five way tie for fourth place with a round of 76.  For their efforts they were named to the All-CACC Team.

Sophomore Michael Ciaravino (Islip Terrace, NY) shot an 80 on the day, followed by senior Justin Jacaruso (Suffern, NY) with an 84 and junior James Cardona (Suffern, NY) who shot an 89.
