Blauvelt, NY (7/19/05)- Dominican College golf coach, Jim Gallagher, has announced the Chargers 2005-2006 schedule. The team will play in numerous tournaments throughout the fall and spring seasons.
Last year Dominicans season was highlighted as freshman Brian Mackey was selected to go to the NCAA Super-Regionals in Jackson, New Jersey. After getting off to a slow start, Mackey stepped up his game and finished a respectable fourth, just missing the cut to advance.
The Chargers will open up the 2005-2006, playing in the St. Thomas Aquinas College Tournament on September 9-11. The fall season will feature the Eastern College Athletic Tournament (ECAC) on October 2-3 and will conclude with a tournament at Post University on October 13-14.
DCs spring season will being with a tournament at CACC rival, Goldey-Beacom College in early March and the Chargers will look to win the CACC Title at Post University on April 10-11.
