BLAKE AND WHITELEY EARN ECAC WEEKLY ACCOLADES
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/17/13) Dominican College baseball players, Tony Blake and Caleb Whiteley have been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player and Pitcher of the week as was announced by the ECAC.
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/17/13) Dominican College baseball players, Tony Blake and Caleb Whiteley have been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player and Pitcher of the week as was announced by the ECAC.
Blake, a senior outfielder from Windsor, Conn. hit .562 (9-for-16) in six games played with four runs scored, one double, one triple and seven RBI. He drew eight walks for an on-base percentage of .692 and a .750 slugging percentage.
Whiteley, a senior pitcher from Joplin, Mo. went 1-0 in two appearances with a complete game victory. Allowed three runs (only one earned) on seven hits with five strkeouts for a 1.00 ERA.
