MOORE EARNS PRESEASON NCBWA ALL-EAST HONORS

Orangeburg, NY (2/3/12) Dominican College baseball player, Justin Moore, has been named to the 2012 Preseason NCBWA All-East Region Second Team as was announced by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association this week.

Orangeburg, NY (2/3/12)  Dominican College baseball player, Justin Moore, has been named to the 2012 Preseason NCBWA All-East Region Second Team as was announced by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association this week.

Moore, a senior right-handed pitcher from Wantagh, NY, finished the 2011 season with an 8-1 record and a 1.67 ERA.  He had a perfect 1.00 fielding percentage and made 10 put outs on the season with 33 assists. All three runners that attempted to steal on him were thrown out.  He was named to the East Region Gold Glove Team and earned Rawlings/American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) NCAA Division II Gold Glove Team accolades.
