BASEBALL TO HOLD PROSPECT CAMP
Orangeburg, NY (10/4/10) Dominican College will be hosting its 3rd. annual baseball prospect camp on Saturday November 6, 2010 (rain date is Sunday November 7) at 9:00 at Veterans Memorial Park in Orangeburg, NY (Rockland County). The cost of attending the event will be $50.00. Veterans Memorial Park is the home field for Dominican College. We are planning on giving tours of the campus and meet with the coaches and a representative from the Admissions Office afterwards. We are also planning on inviting coaches from other area colleges to attend & evaluate the players in attendance.
The format for the showcase is as follows:
Check in
60 yard dash
Outfielders – fielding and throwing
Infielders – fielding and throwing
Catchers – throwing to 2nd and 3rd and fielding bunts
Pitchers throwing in the bullpen
Batting Practice
Modified live scrimmage (if time permits)
What To Bring for workout: Baseball attire (baseball pants, hat, glove, spikes, bat, preferably wood, if possible) & most important, a physical from your doctor.

From New Jersey
Garden State Parkway to exit 172 (Grand Ave.) Bear right off exit. Take Grand Ave. to the end (approx. 3 miles). Make a right onto Middletown Road and then a quick left onto Blue Hill Road. Go to end (approx. .6 mile) Make a left. Take it to the end. At the light, make a right on to Veteran's Memorial Drive. Make first available right on to Hunt Road.
From New York Thruway:
Take exit 13S (Palisades Interstate Parkway South). Take the P.I.P. to exit 6W (Orangeburg Road,Pearl River). Continue on Orangeburg Road through two lights. After the 2nd light, you will see the park on the left hand side. Make the first left after the park on to Hunt Road.
From the George Washington Bridge: Stay right coming over the bridge. Take the Palisades Insterstate Parkway and follow the directions above when you get off at exit 6W.
