MONDESIR TABBED CACC CO-PITCHER OF THE WEEK FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK

Orangeburg, NY (5/4/08) Dominican College baseball player, Michael Mondesir, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Co-Pitchers of the Week, along with Stephen Pfeil of Caldwell College as was announced today by the CACC.

Orangeburg, NY (5/4/08) Dominican College baseball player, Michael Mondesir, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Co-Pitchers of the Week, along with Stephen Pfeil of Caldwell College, as was announced today by the CACC.

Mondesir, who was the CACC Pitcher of the Week last week also, is a right hander out of Jamaica, NY.  He hurled his second consecutive shut out victory in a 9-0 win over the Devils of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.  He scattered just two hits and strikeout four batters last week.

The Chargers are currently 26-23 overall and 18-9 in the CACC.  The team will be in the upcoming CACC Tournament this weekend at Wilmington University.
