West Chester, Pa. (9/6/25) The Dominican University New York women's volleyball team lost their final match of the PSAC East Kickoff Tournament to host, West Chester University, 3-0 this morning in Hollinger Field House.
With the loss, the Lady Chargers fall to 0-2 on the season, while the Golden Rams improve to 2-0 on the year.
WCU took the match in straight sets by scores of 25-16, 25-15 and 25-17.
Sophomore Alexandria De Iasi led the team with five kills and a .250 attack percentage.
Layla Shipley dished out a team best 12 assists, while Gabriella Broadus and Trinity Parkin had seven desfensive digs each.
Senior Savannah Tody, Tabitha Ojeda and Parkin had three kills each in the loss.
Freshman Isabella DaValle added six digs, while Shipley and Kylie Flynn had five digs a piece.
The Lady Chargers return to action this coming Thursday evening when they travel to Assumption University.
