MILETI HAS CAREER DAY AS LADY CHARGERS EXTEND WINNING STREAK
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/15/26) The Dominican University New York women's lacrosse team extended their current winning streak to seven games after they defeated the Golden Falcons of Felician University in CACC action this afternoon on O'Brien Field.
The Lady Chargers, #18 in USA Lacrosse ranking and #21 in the IWLCA, improves to 9-3 overall and 5-0 in the CACC.
Dominican opened the game up with seven goals in the first quarter and then followed with a five goal second quarter for a 12-0 halftime lead.
Dominican added 10 goals in the second half, five goals each quarter, on their way to the 22-1 victory.
Sophomore attacker Madison Mileti had a career day in today's game. Mileti matched a career high six goals while adding three assists for nine points which is a career best.
Mileti also matched another career high in groundballs with six while setting a new career high in draw controls with seven.
Kate Frae scored four goals which is a season high while adding one assist. Frae picked up three groundballs and two draw controls.
Camryn Grella, Leila Paz, and Dani Cox each scored three goals. Addison Sullivan, Amy Welsh, and Alexa Preston each netted one goal.
Goalkeeper Daniela Parisi picked up her ninth win on the season in net.
The Lady Chargers return to action this Saturday when they visit Holy Family University.
