Springfield, Mass. (12/19/25) The Dominican University New York women's basketball squad closed out play in 2025 with a 68-56 loss to host, American International College, this afternoon in a non-conference game played in Henry A. Butova Gymnasium.
With the loss, the Lady Chargers are now 3-8 on the season.
Junior Tamia Nunes and freshman Ketura Rutty led Dominican with nine points a-piece in the loss, with Nunes adding seven rebounds.
Dalana Taylor and Sky Priester recorded eight points each, while Taylor pulled down seven rebounds and Priester added four boards, three steals and two assists.
Senior Cayla Howard scored seven points and six caroms.
Up next for Dominican will be a home Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game against Wilmington University on January 3rd, 2026. Game time is set for 1pm on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
