WOMEN'S BASKETBALL FALLS TO GREYHOUNDS

Worcester, Mass. (12/6/25)  The Dominican University New women's basketball team fell in non-conference action to host, Assumption University, 86-40, this afternoon in a game played in Andrew Laska Gymnasium.

Following the loss, the Lady Chargers now stand at 2-5 overall, while Assumption improves to 6-1 on the season.

The Greyhounds started strong as they quickly built a double-digit lead just five minutes into the first contest and never relinquish it as they brought home the win.

Freshman Ketura Rutty scored 17 points and six rebounds for Dominican, shooting 7-12 from the floor.

Kayleigh Ahern netted seven points, while senior Cayla Howard and junior Tamia Nunes pulled down five rebounds each. 

Dominican returns to action on Tuesday night when they travel to Caldwell University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.
