Fairfox, Va. (3/1/26) The Dominican University New York men's volleyball team fell to the Patriots of George Mason University this afternoon.
Dominican falls to 4-12 overall while the Patriots improve to 9-6 overall after the win.
The Patriots defeated the Chargers in three sets after opening the match with a 25-15 victory followed by a 25-19 win in the second set and a 25-22 win in the third to close the match out.
The Chargers were led by Phinehas Wiley who recorded 13 kills while picking up six digs. Ayden Shaw added eight kills, one service ace, and five digs.
Jackson Shaw finished with five kills while Tommaso Falchi added four kills. Seth Terry and Alejandro Miranda each picked up a team-high eight digs. Terry also led the way in assists with 30.
The Chargers look to bounce back next Friday, March 13th when they visit NJIT.
