New Haven, Conn. (10/28/25) The Dominican University New York men's soccer team lost a non-conference game to host, Southern Connecticut State University, 2-0, this evening in a game played at Jess Dow Field.

With the loss, the Chargers now stand at 3-8-3 overall.

The Owl offense scored both goals in the first half, one in the 17th minute and the second at 21:21 for the 2-0 victory.

Matheus Xavier had four shots to lead Dominican with two being on goal.

Keeper Miguel Hernandez made five saves in the loss.

The Chargers return to action on Saturday afternoon when they host Goldey-Beacom College on O'Brien Field.
