SECOND HALF GOAL LEADS SETTERS TO WIN OVER MEN'S SOCCER

Pleasantville, N.Y. (9/13/25)  The Dominican University New York men's soccer team fell in non-conference action to host, Pace University, 1-0 this afternoon in a game played at Northwell Stadium.

Following the loss, Domincian falls to 0-3-1 on the season, while the Setters improve to 3-1 overall.

The game was scoreless through the first 59 minutes of action when Pace struck for a score at the 59:56 mark.

Dominican outshot the Setters, 13-10 and held a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Eyob McFarland led the team with four shots in the contest.

Charger keeper David Arteaga made seven saves in the loss.

Dominican returns to action on Wednesday afternoon when they open up Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play on the road at Caldwell University.
