MEN'S SOCCER SLIPS BY CHESTNUT HILL COLLEGE

Orangeburg, N.Y. (9/28/14) The Dominican College men's soccer team slipped by the visiting Griffins of Chestnut Hill College, 1-0, this afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action played at the DC Soccer Field.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (9/28/14)  The Dominican College men's soccer team slipped by the visiting Griffins of Chestnut Hill College, 1-0, this afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action played at the DC Soccer Field.

Freshman Hallvard Kuloey (Bergen, Norway) scored the game-winner and his first collegiate goal at the 13:08 mark on a shot from five yards out.  Panagiotis Kanganis (Patras, Greece) recorded an assist.

Keeper Steven Hegner (Pomona, N.Y.) made one save in the win.

DC controlled the game, outshooting the Griffins, 9-2, and had a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks.

With the victory Dominican improves to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

The Chargers will take on Mercy College in non-conference action on September 30th.
