Personal: Son of Michael and Mary Mayer...has two siblings; Michael and Robert...favorite athlete is John Cena...favorite sports team is the New York Rangers...favorite food is anything his parents cook...hobbies include listening to music, golf, and working out...also played soccer at MacArthur High School...was an All-Conference and an All-County Honorable Mention in soccer and was an Unsung Hero Award recipient in lacrosse...Named Scholar Athlete of the Year and recipient of the Rick Baily Memorial Scholarship award in his senior year.

Central Islip, N.Y. (7/13/14) East Coast Conference Commissioner, Dr. Robert Dranoff, announced the list of student-athletes that have been named to the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2016-2017 academic year on Wednesday afternoon. The total of 1,267 student-athletes named to the Honor Roll sets an all-time high for the eighth straight year. This is now the eighth consecutive year, the number of honorees at the ECC’s 10 member institutions and nine associate members has increased (1,255 in 2015-16; 1,125 in 2014-15; 1,102 in 2013-14; 979 in 2012-13; 759 in 2011-12; 678 in 2010-11; 654 in 2009-10; 617 in 2008-09; 613 in 2007-08).

(4/26/17) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team outscored the visiting Eagles of Post University, 7-2, in the final quarter to lead them to an 18-15 non-conference win in a non-conference game played at the Torne Valley Sports Complex. In the win, freshman midfielder Marcos Pierce (Middleburg, Va.) scored a career high five goals.
