DOMINICAN WOMEN FINISH FOURTH AT MOUNT SAINT MARY COLLEGE INVITATIONAL

Newburgh, N.Y. (10/2/16) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished in fourth place at the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational held yesterday in Newburgh, N.Y. The Lady Chargers compiled a team score of 145 to finish behing Cobleskill, Mount Saint Mary and Sage College.

Newburgh, N.Y. (10/2/16)  The Dominican College women's cross country team finished in fourth place at the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational held yesterday in Newburgh, N.Y.  The Lady Chargers compiled a team score of 145 to finish behing Cobleskill, Mount Saint Mary and Sage College.

Senior Emily Lopez* (Staten Island, N.Y.) finished in 16th place overall with a time of 27:15 (7:19 average mile).

Teammate Jessica Graci (Staten Island, N.Y.) had a time of 27:39 (7:25 average) to take 20th place, while Kaitlynn Connor (Warwick, N.Y.) took 21st place with a time of 27:44 (7:27).

Jennifer Heller (Butler, N.J.) had a time of 28:15 (7:35) to finish in 30th place.

Christina Burgos (Staten Island, N.Y.) finished in 68th place with a time of 30:29 (8:11), while Allison Moroney (Pearl River, N.Y.) took 71st place with a time of 30:33 (8:12).

Junior Micaela Rispoli (Cliffside Park, N.J.) ran a time of 32:57 (8:51) to take 102nd place and Djazmina Jean-Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) had a time of 33:09 (8:54) to finish in 105th place.

The Lady Chargers will travel to the NJIT Highlander Invitational next weekend.
