LADY CHARGERS TAKE FOURTH PLACE AT FAIRFIELD UNIVERSITY XC MEET

Fairfield, Conn. (9/24/16) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished in fourth place today at the Fr. Victor F. Leeber, S.J. Invitational hosted by Fairfield University. The Lady Chargers finished with a team score of 132 points to take fourth behind Sacred Heart University (15 points), Fairfield University (55 points) and Manhattan College (72 points).

Fairfield, Conn. (9/24/16)  The Dominican College women's cross country team finished in fourth place today at the Fr. Victor F. Leeber, S.J. Invitational hosted by Fairfield University. The Lady Chargers finished with a team score of 132 points to take fourth behind Sacred Heart University (15 points), Fairfield University (55 points) and Manhattan College (72 points). 

Senior Emily Lopez* (Staten Island, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she took 22nd place with a time of 22:33.26.

Jennifer Heller (Butler, N.J.) finished in 25th place with a time of 24:44.65, while Christina Burgos (Staten Island, N.Y.) took 27th place with a time of 25:06:84.

Freshman Allison Moroney (Pearl River, N.Y.) ran the course in a time of 25:07.27 to take 28th place, while Mary Curatolo (Staten Island, N.Y.) finished in 30th place with a time fo 26:23.51.

Micaela Rispoli (Cliffside Park, N.J.) took 34th place with a time of 28:51.19 and Djazmina Jean-Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) was 35th with a time of 31:00.40.

Dominican is back in action next Saturday when they travel to the Mount St. Mary Knight Invite.
