LADY CHARGERS TAKE FOURTH PLACE AT RAMAPO COLLEGE XC OPENER

Woodland Park, N.J. (9/2/16) The Dominican College women's cross country squad took fourth place at the Ramapo College XC Opener held at Garrett Mountain in Woodland Park, N.J. The team compiled an overall score of 106.

Woodland Park, N.J. (9/2/16)  The Dominican College women's cross country squad took fourth place at the Ramapo College XC Opener held at Garrett Mountain in Woodland Park, N.J.  The team compiled an overall score of 106.

Host, Ramapo took home the team title with a score of 43 points, followed by Montclair State University (51) and Bloomfield College (91).  Dominican finsihed fourth (106) with Arcadia, Felician, FDU-Florham and Berkley rounding out the top eight.

Freshman Kaitlynn Connor (Warwick, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she finished in 10th place in her first collegiate meet with a time of 21:54.4 (7:03.0 per mile).

Senior captain Emily Lopez* (Staten Island, N.Y.) 22.21.9 to take 16 place overall with an average mile of 7:11.9.

Jessica Graci (Staten Island, N.Y.) averaged 7:28.1 per mile to take 23rd place overall with a completed time of 23:12.4.

Allison Moroney (Pearl River, N.Y.) and Jennifer Heller (Butler, N.J.) took 42nd place and 43rd place with times of 24:52.5 (8:00.3) and 24:56.5 (8:01.6).

Senior Christina Burgos (Staten Island, N.Y.) ran a time of 25:24.2 (8:10.5) to finish in 51st place and Mary Curatolo (Staten Island, N.Y.) took 56th place with a time of 26.48.5 (8:37.7).

Junior Micaela Rispoli (Cliffside Park, N.J.) ran a time of 29:04.2 (9:21.3) to take 69th place.

The Lady Chargers return to action next weekend at the Fordham Fiasco.
