WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL WRAPS UP REGULAR SEASON WITH POST ON SENIOR DAY
Orangeburg, N.Y. (11/15/25) The Dominican University New York women's volleyball team fell to CACC north division opponent Post University in the regular season finale this afternoon on Coach Baxter Court.
The Eagles improved to 24-4 overall and 13-1 in the CACC. The Lady Chargers fall to 8-15 overall and 5-9 in conference play.
Today was also Senior Day for the Lady Chargers as they honored Elizabeth Perez, Savannah Tody, and Kylie Flynn in a pregame ceremony.
The Eagles opened the match with a 25-15 win. Dominican bounced back to win the second set after a strong start and later used a 9-3 run to help tie the match at 1-1.
The Eagles won the next two sets 25-14 and 25-21 to close out the 3-1 victory.
Perez led the Lady Chargers in kills with 11 while picking up six digs. Layla Shipley added nine kills while Tody picked up seven kills, three service aces, and finished with 10.5 points.
Delaney Ott recorded led the way in digs with 20 while Kaeden Sanstead picked up a team-high 31 assists.
The Eagles were led by Kristina Peric who had a match-high 28 kills while adding five service aces and one block assist for 33.5 points scored. Alyssa Groves recorded 25 digs while Alice DiFrancesco had a match-high 47 assists.
Next up for the Lady Chargers are the Quarterfinals of the CACC Women's Volleyball Championships on Tuesday.
